Extracurricular Classes That Inspire & Engage

Music Is Another Language

At Intiwasi, we believe that music is another language, one that children can learn, read, and express from an early age. Through music, students develop listening skills, discipline, creativity, and a powerful new way to communicate their ideas and emotions.

In our one-on-one music classes with Maestro Álvaro, students receive personalized instruction tailored to their age, level, and interests. Children learn to read music, understand rhythm and melody, and explore sound as a form of expression, just as they do with spoken and written language.

These individualized lessons allow students to progress at their own pace while building confidence, focus, and a deep appreciation for music. Whether students are just beginning or continuing their musical journey, music becomes a meaningful and joyful part of their learning experience at Intiwasi.

Looking for an inspiring way to nurture your child’s love of music after school? At Intiwasi, students can sign up for one-on-one lessons with Maestro Álvaro, available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (subject to availability).

With years of experience and a passion for teaching, Maestro Álvaro offers personalized instruction in piano and wind instruments, guiding each student step by step to build skill, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Since musical growth is achieved through consistency, families are encouraged to commit to the full year, and a month's notice is required to stop services.

To celebrate progress, our young musicians have the opportunity to perform in two annual recitals, one in December and one in June. Participation is optional, but students are always encouraged and supported to share their talents on stage
