Our mission is to offer quality bilingual education and create a safe, healthy, happy environment for children to grow up understanding the importance of diversity and respect. Every donation goes back to the community in the form of scholarships and financial aid.

All funds donated to our school serve the following purposes:

Offer financial assistance to students

Offer financial assistance to children of staff and directors so they can be relieved of the stress of childcare while they work hard raising all children in our community

Updating of facilities and class materials to create a wonderful space that sparks children’s imagination and passion for learning.
At Intiwasi we see each and every child as an individual; we know that they all learn, grow and develop differently and that they all reach their milestones or learning goals at different speeds. Our staff is caring and we all work as a team with our families to enable students to achieve both socio-emotionally and academically.

At Intiwasi we understand that our children are facing ever-changing challenges in their navigation of the world. Thusly, we offer opportunities for our students to think outside of the box and we create activities that promote critical thinking.

Our school is very diverse, we house children from all parts of LA with many different backgrounds and from many different cultures. 35% of our students are from a Latino background. These children naturally help with the immersion aspect of our program and we work hand-in-hand with our kids as we promote the use of Spanish in a natural setting as the playground.
