THANKSGIVING CAMP
Intiwasi offers a 100% authentic Spanish immersion Thanksgiving camp for kids ages 2-10 years old. Our classes promote oral proficiency through fun activities. During the day, children rotate through different small group activities. The objective of our lessons is to place a high emphasis on oral fluency and the use of Spanish in a natural setting.
2023 Camp Theme
Students will engage in discussions about their families and family traditions. They will share how Thanksgiving is celebrated in their homes and discuss the unique traditions specific to this season, including any special dishes enjoyed.

Additionally, students will embark on a journey to explore diverse cultures around the world. They will delve into the fascinating world of the Iroquois people, examining their distinctive family structures and dwelling types, such as wigwams and longhouses.

As part of our creative activities, students will discover the beauty of Native American art, and in the realm of science, they will investigate the intricate world of leaves.
